Call for Mini-Workshops, Panels, Tutorials, and Presentations
Proposals for mini-workshops, panels, tutorials, and presentations and panels are will be held in conjunction with the main conference, more specifically the day before the main conference and during the conference as well. Unlike technical submissions that are peer-reviewed and published in an international and reputable journal, submissions in this category will be reviewed only by the conference organizing committee. The organizing committee is open to the format of mini-workshop, panels, tutorials, and presentations; however, these events must offer research results, perspectives, and insights on topics relevant to the conference to the main conference themes and objectives. Potential submissions may be drawn from the topics in the technical topics or may topics be including but are not limited to the following:
- AI and Smart governance
- Ethics in AI and smart systems (Maat, Ubuntu, etc., formalism)
- Integration of AI and cultural intelligence
- AI and Computer Vision for Cultural Heritage
- AI for Traditional Medicine
Submission Format
Mini-Workshop and Tutorial submissions should be formatted as follow:
- Title of the Tutorial/Workshop and short summary.
- Broad scope (e.g., Smart Farming using Sensor Networks)
- Name, affiliation and contact (including email and phone) details of the coordinating presenter and all other co-presenters.
- The targeted audience and prerequisites.
- Tutorial/Workshop duration. Full day tutorials will be seven hours and half day tutorials will be three and a half hours.
- Detailed tutorial program, with a list of topics covered.
- Technical bibliography (with emphasis on the authors’ works and other related works being covered).
- List of tutorial material to be provided to the attendees.
- Short biographical sketch of each presenter indicating previous experience in delivering lectures and tutorials, and expertise on the tutorial topic.
